THE AWAKENING ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM THIS ALCHEMY

The Awakening has just announced an extensive pre-order campaign for its 10th full-length album, This Alchemy, set for release May 18, 2021.
Following 2018’s Chasm, The Awakening’s upcoming album features 11 new songs penned by frontman Ashton Nyte.
The pre-order campaign leading up to the release of This Alchemy includes a range of limited edition items and exclusive content available directly at the band’s official site: www.theawakening.com.
Speaking about the upcoming album, Nyte says:
“2020 was a difficult year for all of us, to say the very least. In the absence of touring and with an uncertain future ahead, I have tried to carve something magical from the ongoing weight of it all. I hope this brings you comfort and light. As always, your support will make this chapter a brighter one. I am blessed by your belief in my art. Thank you.”
Now based in the U.S., The Awakening is a musical project born in Johannesburg, South Africa in the late ’90s. Nyte, who has worked on various collaborative projects, recently released his 7th solo album, Waiting For A Voice, along with his first book of poetry and short stories, in 2020.
