GRACEBILT: Announces Debut

There’s a new Christian hard rock band from North Carolina called Gracebilt.  The band comprises the father-son duo of Shad and Christian Watters.  Both of the men have served time in the military (Shad is still a chaplain in the National Guard), which they feel gives them a unique perspective on Christianity and spiritual warfare.  Listeners can check the band out at  https://gracebilt.hearnow.com/cancel-culture-deluxe-edition#nt_settings.

When asked about their aspirations, Shad explained, “We know we’ll never be a Skillet or Demon Hunter (though we love and are inspired by their music). We’re just the working-class musicians trying to make a difference at the grassroots level, and we love doing that!”

  1. Thanks so much for sharing our music and story! I subscribed to Heaven’s Metal magazine back in the 80’s when I was an impressionable teenager. I cut my teeth on bands like Guardian, Whitecross, and Holy Soldier way back in those days. I’m so glad you guys are still doing your thing, AND that you were willing to give us a shout-out! Blessings to you guys!

  2. Thanks for sharing this! Heaven’s Metal was a big influence on me in my impressionable teenage years. I was really into groups like Whitecross, Guardian, Holy Soldier, Deliverance, and Bride back in those days. It made an impact on spiritually and musically. It’s so cool to still be playing music for the King decades later! Keep doing great things for the kingdom!
