DEMON HUNTER: Re-release Debut On Vinyl

Demon Hunter announces, “Our self-titled debut album is on vinyl LP for the first time ever!”

It’s newly remastered for vinyl. It includes a 20-page large format book with lyrics, rare photos, and extensive liner notes by Ryan Clark detailing the origin of the band. Features a foil-stamped cover. Of course, there are three variants, each limited to only 500 copies. Pick it up here.

It was funny how HM Magazine got some backlash from Solid State Records when we didn’t put this initially formed as a super group with unknown participants on the front cover. I recall catching flack due to an unspoken assumption that this debut album would be our number one priority at the time of the release. This was coupled with a veiled in secrecy type interview from the band, not tipping its hat as to who played on the album. I recall that the first poster we ran of the band included a bandana-wearing Lance Garvin, citing speculation that he’d be a permanent member. As time went on, of course, Demon Hunter became a huge priority for our magazine. And even now some two decades later they still capture our attention with their excellent quality sonics, visuals, and live shows.
