The Michigan extreme metal crew spent last weekend laying down fresh tracks and are working with producer and engineer Daniel Keebler McKay of <strong>Collapse\/\/Revive<\/strong>, handling everything from recording to mastering. And, for those hungry for new sounds, the band hints a single could drop before year\u2019s end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Mortifiers had initially started recording this summer, but decided to take things back to the drawing board, reworking their approach to craft something even more intense. \u201c<em>We revamped a lot of what we were working on to make it even GNARLIER,<\/em>\u201d they shared on social media, fueling curiosity for just how far they\u2019re pushing their sound this time around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s a fervor behind <strong>Voluntary Mortification<\/strong> right now, and they\u2019re calling on fans to keep the support coming as they go all in on this next chapter.
