This year has been stellar for music, with standout releases spanning various genres. In this list, I\u2019ve compiled my Top 40 Albums, featuring a mix of full-length records and EPs. The majority of the selections showcase Christian or faith-based metal and rock, with a few leaning toward being Christian-adjacent\u2014featuring bands with Christian members or exploring themes closely aligned with faith-driven lyrical content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a quick note, I\u2019d like to clarify that these rankings reflect my personal selections as a staff writer for Heaven\u2019s Metal and do not represent the official Heaven\u2019s Metal Magazine end-of-year list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The rankings aren\u2019t about declaring one album \u201cbetter\u201d than another but reflect what connected with me personally. These are the albums I found myself returning to, the ones that became part of my rotation and left a lasting impression. If an album made this list, it\u2019s for two key reasons: 1) I had the opportunity to listen to it, and 2) it rose above the hundreds of other releases I explored this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With so much great music being released, I\u2019ve inevitably missed some incredible albums. If your favorite isn\u2019t here, I\u2019d love to hear about it! This list is not only a celebration of the music that impacted me but also a chance to discover even more amazing releases. Let me know which albums moved you this year!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I decided to exclude albums released on my own label, Broken Curfew Records<\/a>, from this list to avoid conflicts of interest. That said, I still want to give a quick plug because we had some fantastic releases this year!
