After a period of inactivity between 2013 and 2017, the legendary band\u00a0Bride<\/strong>\u00a0entered a frenetic rhythm of releases totaling 3 albums, 1 EP, 1 Christmas album, 1 bluegrass album and 1 acoustic album released from 2018 until now, with no sign of slowing down.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

And the next chapter of this story already has a name: \u201cVipers And Shadows\u201d<\/strong>, which will be the band\u2019s first double album and will feature a total of 20 tracks. \u201cWrath\u201d, \u201cFall To Pieces\u201d<\/strong> and \u201cWatcha Doing Out\u201d<\/strong> are some of the titles already announced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to guitarist Troy Thompson<\/strong>, \u201cWe knew we had a lot of songs for this next project, and instead of cutting some of them, we decided to include them all. In addition, we will be releasing another album at the same time, called <\/em>\u2018Lost Reels IV\u2019<\/strong> This will be an EP that contains songs that didn\u2019t make it onto the double CD.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

And about the sound of the album, he adds, \u201cI will be playing every instrument on the album, except the drums. I grew up playing violin, cello and mandolin, so we always include those different instruments in our recordings. I think it adds something special to our music that a lot of other hard rock and heavy metal bands don\u2019t have. There will even be some piano and keyboards in there too, which I\u2019m also playing\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Troy<\/strong> and his brother Dale Thompson <\/strong>(vocals), Bride<\/strong> will have the brazilian Alexandre Aposan<\/strong> as drummer on \u201cVipers And Shadows\u201d<\/strong>, thus continuing the partnership that began in 2018. The album cover was handled by Rafael Tavares (Tavares Artwork) <\/strong>and the sound engineering as well as the mixing and mastering will be handled by Nenel Lucena<\/strong>, who together with Alexandre<\/strong> toured with the band during a 6-date tour in Brazil in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
