There\u2019s something about a bright balloon party set to the sound of bleeding hearts and spiraling self-talk that just hits different.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vocalist Magdalene Rose has always stood out to me. Not just because her vocals somehow manage to be fierce and comforting at the same time\u2014like a lullaby laced with barbed wire\u2014but because there\u2019s a boldness in how she presents pain. She doesn\u2019t mask it. She wraps it in color<\/em>, dances through it, and hands it to you in a song that\u2019s extremely catchy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The band’s new music video for \u201cHey At Least I\u2019m Feeling Something<\/a>\u201d<\/strong> is a beautiful contradiction: upbeat visuals and a homemade aesthetic, layered over deeply confessional lyrics about numbness, self-harm, and the craving to just feel something again<\/em>. There\u2019s a little grit in the groove, but it\u2019s not here to crush you. It\u2019s here to make you move. To nod along. To see yourself in it\u2014and maybe to feel seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose and Blaise Rojas shot and edited this video themselves, and it shows<\/em>\u2014in all the best ways. It\u2019s personal. Raw. Like opening up someone\u2019s diary and finding a dance party in the margins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
