London metalcore quartet CONFESSIONS OF A TRAITOR<\/strong> have announced the release of their upcoming new album This Pain Will Serve You<\/em><\/strong>, set for release on 16<\/strong>th May<\/strong> via Facedown Records<\/strong>. Produced by the band and Justin Hill<\/strong> (SikTh, Heart Of A Coward) and mixed by Lance Prenc<\/strong> (Alpha Wolf, Polaris), the eleven track record is set to cement their status as one of the most promising prospects in British heavy music. To celebrate the announcement, the band have shared a majestic music video for their brand new single ‘Still Haunted<\/strong>‘. A gracefully balanced waltz rife with spine-tingling aggression and soaring melodies, the track is an emotionally charged gut-punch that candidly explores the tragedy of loss and the overwhelming weight of grief connected to it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Speaking on the new single, vocalist Stephen MacConville<\/strong> shares:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe song tells the story of my best friend and how he’s struggled with the loss of his partner to suicide. He holds the memories of their relationship so dear. He is haunted by things he could have done differently to prevent her from the path she chose. Dwelling in a limbo where he simply cannot move on from her, falling deeper into sadness as he is surrounded by all of her possessions.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n
