Los Angeles, 1990s. If you were anywhere near the Sunset Strip when the scene was on fire, you probably heard the name Precious Death<\/a><\/em> shouted across packed clubs and college radio waves. Dominating stages like the Whisky, The Roxy, Gazzarri\u2019s, Madame Wong\u2019s, and The Country Club, this ferocious five-piece earned a reputation for tight musicianship, soaring vocals, and mosh pits that left no one unscathed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They weren\u2019t just another band clawing for attention, they were critical darlings with serious chops. Their debut album Southpaw<\/em> didn\u2019t just turn heads; it won them two Los Angeles Music Awards and landed them on Billboard<\/em> charts. Follow-up albums If You Must<\/em>, PD3<\/em>, Hardest Hits<\/em>, and Oddballs and Endings<\/em> solidified their legacy in Christian metal lore.

I was fortunate enough to lend some group vocals to the songs \u201cForcefed\u201d and \u201cKing of Siam\u201d on Southpaw<\/em>, and looking back, those moments still feel surreal. Being part of that Southern California scene during one of the most infamous and electric eras in Christian metal history was more than just a chapter; it was a formative experience. The energy, the friendships, the music blasting from studios to packed clubs. It was a wild, unforgettable time, and I count those days among the best memories of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, decades later, Precious Death<\/em> isn\u2019t just back, they\u2019re ignited<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Enter the Red Moon.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The new single \u201cRed Moon<\/a> <\/a>Rising<\/a>\u201d is a thunderous track pulled from the band\u2019s upcoming dual-album project, Red Moon Rising: Part One<\/em> and Part Two<\/em>. it\u2019s already generating serious buzz among longtime fans who wondered if PD could still bring the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
