Fit For A King returns with Lonely God<\/em>, their eighth studio album, set to release August 1. While the title might suggest distance or isolation, the band leans fully into human fragility and divine tension. The lead single gives us a taste of that signature FFAK balance: thunderous breakdowns paired with melodic hooks, existential lyrics layered over blast zones of metalcore might. It’s introspective without losing its punch, a spiritual scream into the void for anyone who\u2019s ever felt abandoned or awakened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There’s a cinematic quality to this one. Songs like \u201cParasite\u201d and \u201cLaw of the Wasteland\u201d are drenched in atmosphere, yet still maintain the theological weight and explosive riffs we’ve come to expect.
