Latter Day Exploits Releases Single “Within Consumed (Ft. Kristina McKillop)\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes beautiful and sometimes ugly, Roseburg, Oregon\u2019s Latter Day Exploits combines elements of industrial, black, death, and doom metal into a petri-dish laden with intricate and, at times, chaotic vibrations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Latter Day Exploits leader Aaron Wilmot talks about the first single and title track off their upcoming release, “Within Consumed”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“After my enlistment in the Marines I struggled with anxiety, depression, and suicide. These lyrics are a way of expressing fear and the temptation to end it all. They refer to the demonic influence of suicide. The lie is this: ‘it doesn’t matter if you kill yourself now or later, you are damned in the afterlife either way.’ ‘Within Consumed’ is about being overtaken with fear, then replacing that fear with God’s love and embracing Him… in the end being consumed by Yahweh.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
