KILLSWITCH ENGAGE ANNOUNCE\u00a0RESCHEDULED HEADLINE TOUR FOR\u00a0WINTER 2022\u00a0<\/strong> AUGUST BURNS RED + LIGHT THE TORCH TO\u00a0REJOIN AS\u00a0SUPPORT<\/strong>

Gold-selling and three-time Grammy-nominated\u00a0hard rock heavyweights\u00a0Killswitch Engage<\/strong>\u00a0have announced their\u00a0rescheduled headline tour for\u00a0Winter 2022. KsE, recognized by\u00a0Forbes<\/em>\u00a0as “one of modern metal’s most cherished acts,” will\u00a0bring The Atonement Tour back on\u00a0the road to\u00a0clubs and theaters across the U.S. and into Canada. The trek\u00a0kicks off on January 28\u00a0in Pittsburgh\u00a0and\u00a0runs through March 12 in Philadelphia.

The Atonement Tour makes its return with the same powerful lineup, which includes\u00a0Lancaster, Pennsylvania’s\u00a0August Burns Red\u00a0<\/strong>as main support\u00a0and\u00a0Light the Torch\u00a0<\/strong>as the opening act. As fans are more than well aware, LTT\u00a0frontman\u00a0Howard Jones\u00a0<\/strong>served as KsE’s singer from 2002 through 2012.

This tour package was originally planned for Spring 2020 but was ultimately postponed two dates into the original run due to the global shutdown that was a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.\u00a0It will now include all of the rescheduled dates as well as several new locations across the U.S.

“The long wait is finally over,” says KsE singer\u00a0Jesse Leach<\/strong>. “We worked very hard to carefully piece this tour back together properly.\u00a0After the tour was\u00a0shut down two days in when it\u00a0started\u00a0in 2020, we are bringing it back!\u00a0 We are honored and stoked to have August Burns Red and Howard Jones and the boys in Light the Torch along to make this an ‘all killer, no filler’\u00a0lineup.”

ABOUT KILLSWITCH ENGAGE:\u00a0<\/u><\/strong>
Killswitch Engage first shook the structure of heavy music upon climbing out of snowy industrialized Western Massachusetts in 1999.
