Lyrically, “Born Not of Blood” draws heavily from the opening chapter of the Gospel of John, centering on Christ as the eternal Word; present in the beginning, the source of all creation, and the true Light that darkness cannot overcome. The song emphasizes spiritual rebirth not as something inherited by bloodline, human desire, or personal effort, but as life that comes solely from God.

With repeated declarations that “the life was the light of mankind” and that “the dark failed to quench that light,” the track reinforces the supremacy of Christ over creation, sin, and spiritual blindness. It’s a bold proclamation of identity rooted not in the flesh, but in divine origin, a fitting statement within the broader themes of Agony In The Garden.
