Heaven’s Metal Magazine has launched a new interview series in partnership with Sanctuary International Matrix aimed at spotlighting the voices that continue to shape and sustain the Christian metal community.
Heaven’s Metal: 5 Questions with Seth Metoyer is a short-form video interview series hosted by Heaven’s Metal Senior Staff Writer and Assistant Editor Seth Metoyer, featuring artists, writers, label owners, radio hosts, and community builders across the Christian metal scene. Each episode focuses on five direct questions designed to reveal personal stories, influences, and perspectives from people helping keep the movement alive.
The debut episode features Chris Gatto, a longtime contributor to Heaven’s Metal and one of the most recognizable voices behind the magazine’s modern digital presence.
Gatto serves as a writer for Heaven’s Metal, managing editor and curator of Heaven’s Metal Online Streaming Radio, and host of the Saturday night extreme Christian metal program “Thermonuclear Attack.” Through his work in writing, radio programming, and curation of new music, Gatto has become a key figure in helping introduce listeners to both classic Christian metal releases and emerging extreme bands from around the world.
In this first installment, Metoyer sits down with Gatto to explore several topics that give listeners a glimpse into his background and passion for heavy music.
