Review: Antidemon concert in Finland
ANTIDEMON GIG – KUUSAMO, FINLAND – 24th of July 2026
It was so great to see Antidemon live again! We were travelling around the Baltic
Sea and we planned a stop on our roadtrip so we could see them. Before we went to
the trip I strongly felt God urging me to bring Metal Bibles with me. I also chatted
with Batista and he said that they were strongly forbidden to say anything about
their Christian faith at the gig. But then I thought that those that want to should at
least get an opportunity to take a Metal Bible for free from the merchandise table.
An hour before the gig was about to start, just when Antidemon started to
soundcheck, it started to rain heavily. It had not rained during the whole day but just
then it started to rain heavily! Then I thought that this got to be an attack from the
enemy trying to ruin Antidemon’s gig and also destroying the Metal Bible outreach
by making the Metal Bibles soaking wet. So I prayed like Eliah did (James 5:16-18)
that it should stop raining – and it did! It stopped almost immediately and and then
hardly a drop fell for the rest of the evening. All glory to God.
There were also BIG problems to find the place where Antidemon should play. But
God helped us so we got there in time, just 10 minutes before the gig was about to
start. So I was just in time to put the Metal Bibles on the side of the stage along with
Antidemon’s merchandise and albums. Along with the Metal Bibles I put a sign in
Finnish with a text saying that the Metal Bibles were for free.
It was a superb gig with lots of energy where the band ripped through classics from
many of their albums. The gig was splitted in two parts. Before and after the gig 18
persons came forward to the stage and gladly and thankfully took a Metal
Bible (in English and Swedish). All of them were positive to it and several also
brought it to Batista, so he could sign it. Several were also interested in the Light
The Dark festival and picked a flyer of it as well. Afterwards, I talked to several and
they were all very satisfied with the gig and wanted to hear Antidemon again. They
also said that they look forward to the Finnish version of the Metal Bible (it’s on the
way).
All in all I really want to give God all the glory for a blessed gig and outreach. I
now pray that God will continue to work in each person that took a Metal
Bible or bought some Antidemon merchandise or albums.
