NEWS FROM GIRDER MUSIC: The 40th Anniversary Vinyl and CD is very special. It needs to be because this was one of the greatest debut albums to drop in 1986, 40 years ago. The song “Breakaway” was a breakaway hit, lol. It was what every Christian rocker was looking for. Something between Kiss and Def Leppard but with all the flare of Poison, Ratt and Twister Sister. This was it. Christian rock had finally hit the big-leagues. It was loud, in your face. Nobody knew what they were getting ready to experience.
This release deserves special treatment, an entire rework of the music and packaging. Don’t worry, we didn’t remix it or change the look. We only made what we all love, just that much better. There’s only 300 of each, so grab it while you can. There gonna move as fast as your girlfriend did when she saw your big hair.

The vinyl comes in a really awesome Crimson Teal Galaxy as shown. This is a special hand pured effect in when each one will look slightly different. It’s on audiophile quality vinyl pressing with a very high-quality Collector Grade inner sleeve. No need to upgrade nor throw away that cheap paper sleeve (which you always should). 40th Anniversary Hype Sticker on the outside of the shrink, but probably what makes this really special is it includes the Bonus Track BREAK OUT OF THE NIGHT as well as an expanded inside 4 panel insert that contains not only the lyrics but also a complete band timeline.

Collector’s Edition CD
The Idle Cure self-titled CD is much different that our 2019 version. This version needed to be special so we’ve worked hard and do just that. It includes the bonus track Breakout of the Night along with collector card and collector sleeve. What really makes this special is the expanded booklet inside that contains pages and pages not only the lyrics but also a complete band timeline, history and photo.
