NO POSSESSION RELEASES THEIR ALBUM “THIRD TIME’S A CHARM TODAY
ALONG WITH A MUSIC VIDEO, “RETOLD AND RECYCLED”

The record label Melodic Passion Records is very proud to release the album “Third time’s a charm” by No possession. No Possession captures the sweet old rock ‘n’ roll vinyl sound and you will hear echoes from the past (Stones, Faces, Deep Purple, Black Crowes, Aerosmith) and sounds from today (John Mayer, Joe Bonamassa, Rival sons). Producing the song together in the studio made the band a tight knit unit with a unique rock ‘n roll sound.
Micko Ylinikka started to work on some new material and came up with 12 new great songs and the band found their path. The band started to work on the new material like they were training for a championship fight. They are looking forward to go out on the road again and deliver high octane live shows again.
Micko says:
“The album is recorded live in the studio with very few overdubs and no click tracks. We wanted to get the groove and dirt like they had on classic rock albums like “Exile on main street” and “Atlantic crossing” from the 70s. We like to record that way because we want to capture the live feeling and not overdo it. This album is going to sound great live, I’m sure. And we would like to thank, Ann Roach for your great background vocals. Kenneth Carlsson for your groovy piano on “Black coal, thin ice.” Björn Palander for your great keyboard work on “Dark eyes and “Taste of blood” Svenne Johansson for your trumpet on “Lights out.” It made all the difference, thanks.”

The mastering was handled by Narnia’s CJ Grimmark and he made it sound like an
old classic vinyl album.
