News: Martyr – Once Upon A Tale to release on Roxx Records

Before Californian thrash metal band Betrayal emerged on the scene in the early ’90s, another powerhouse was making waves in the underground metal scene. Martyr, established in 1986, left their mark with three demos released between 1987 and 1989. Now, nearly four decades later, Roxx Records has announced Once Upon A Tale, a new release that promises to resurrect the legacy of this pre-Betrayal force.

While official details about the tracklist remain under wraps, speculation is mounting that Once Upon A Tale may include remastered versions of those three formative demos, giving fans old and new a chance to experience Martyr’s raw beginnings in one comprehensive collection.
