News: Every Thought Captive Drops New Single – Debut Album Announced
Every Thought Captive is back with a vengeance. Their brand-new single, “Joy Deferred”, officially dropped on July 11 through Broken Curfew Records, and it’s already making waves with its crushing groove and haunting urgency.
This is the first track from the band’s highly anticipated full-length debut, titled Death is at Work in Us, slated for release this August. If this single is any indication, we’re in for something both brutal and thought-provoking.
Fans of the band’s breakout EP, Eternal Conscious Punishment, already know the weight ETC carries, both musically and thematically. That EP earned a rare perfect 5/5 score from Heaven’s Metal writer Loyd Harp, who praised the band’s extreme metal edge and lyrical depth, writing:
