The Visible Way Has Launched!
August 26, 2025 (Memphis, TN) – Visible Music College, established in 2000 by Dr. Ken Steorts (Skillet, Madison Line Records, the beep), has launched the new model for creative Christian education, dubbed “The Visible Way,” in Downtown Memphis with 51 students.
Heaven’s Metal Magazine Editor Doug Van Pelt was invited by Ken to be on the Board of Advisors around 2005 or so and has been on that board ever since. “I believe in what Ken is doing,” said Van Pelt.
Long known as the premiere global independent Christian higher education program for worship leaders, musicians, audio technicians, media and ministry professionals, and bands and artists of every genre for mainstream and Christian music, Visible Music College (“Visible”) completed 25 years of dedicated ministry this summer. Visible now turns all attention to The Visible Way model for the new academic year that began this week.
“On July 1, 2025, the Visible Music College Board of Trustees followed their ten year planned directive to leave Title IV Federal Financial Aid behind. Visible developed a purposed plan to lean on slimmer campus operations, focus on Memphis and Online only, and bolster the support of the Church and Visible supporters to the Scholarship Fund for training 75-80% low income students,” explained Dr. Ken Steorts, founder and president of Visible Music College.
The Visible Way focuses on training creative Christians in the modern digital economy – short form videos, technology for church, social media, live sound and performance, songwriting and content creation for a 21st century creative in the church and arts industry. As the first The Visible Way podcast debuts this week, hosted by Ken and edited by students, and Visible Church begins today at 1p via live stream and video capture for social media, The Visible Way students are busy in and out of class making content. Visible Cafe will be dropping new shows on Wednesdays at 1p central and VisibleCIty is the weekly creative vlog (video program) brought to audiences worldwide by the Ministry students. The Visible Way shares the passion and joy of Christian living, biblical theology, and creative content and music with the world weekly. Like, Follow, Share, Comment.
