Reflescent Tide Makes Iconic Catalog Available on All Major Streaming Platforms

**Oshkosh, WI – February 2, 2026** – Reflescent Tide, the trailblazing 90s alternative rock band hailing from Oshkosh, Wisconsin, has officially released their full catalog to all major streaming platforms for the first time. Fans old and new can now access the band’s self-titled debut album (1995), the sophomore release *Spring Catalog* (1997), and the intimate 5-song EP *Monuments & Markers* (1999) on services like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more.

Formed in 1992 on the campus of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Reflescent Tide—consisting of Jeff Weiss on vocals and guitar, Brian Oates on bass, and Jon-Paul LeClair on drums—began as Thorn Crown before signing with Rugged Records and evolving into a standout voice in the Christian alternative rock scene. Drawing influences from grunge and hard rock, the band achieved top 10 rankings on Christian rock and modern rock charts, earned favorable reviews in outlets like HM Magazine, and built a dedicated following with their raw energy and introspective lyrics.

The self-titled debut was praised in a 1996 Cross Rhythms review by Simon Calvert as “really good,” describing it as “solid, meaty, American alternative rock” positioned “somewhere between Jars Of Clay and Foo Fighters after a bath and a shave.” The review highlighted the album’s strengths: “You’ll find pleasing and quite original guitar work, a solid and innovative rhythm section, gutsy vocals and odd things happening in the middle of tracks that make you think. This album is hard driving enough to stick on your stereo loud and play air guitar to [and] also interesting enough to sit down and listen with your headphones on, skipping back to listen to the clever bits over and over.” One fan on Discogs called it “one of my favorite alternative rock albums and one of the few to have grunge-style songs in the Christian market.”

Building on that foundation, *Spring Catalog* marked a significant evolution, with Rambling Ever On noting that “nothing about [the debut] could have prepared me for the leap they would take when they released their sophomore album *Spring Catalog* in 1997.” The album was praised for its progression, as one Discogs commenter stated: “it does not disappoint. I was very pleased to hear their progression to even better lyrics and musicianship.” Rambling Ever On further emphasized that “these Wisconsin natives never received the attention they deserved,” ranking it at #17 on their list of the Top 100 Christian Rock Albums (1980-2019).

The 5-song EP *Monuments & Markers*, a more acoustic-driven release from 1999, rounds out the catalog with reflective tunes that showcase the band’s versatility.

This digital release breathes new life into Reflescent Tide’s music, allowing a new generation to discover their powerful sound and timeless messages. For more information, including band history, photos, and updates, visit **www.ReflescentTide.com**.
