News: The Awakening share new video from ‘The Lost Theatre’
THE AWAKENING – UNTIL THE DAWN [23 July 2026]
South African Gothic / Dark Rock act The Awakening has just shared the first video and single from their upcoming 13th album, The Lost Theatre. The first single is called “Until The Dawn”, which frontman Ashton Nyte says, “is the song that gave birth to The Lost Theatre. I’m always writing songs, but this one told me a new album was on the way, and it had to be the first single. It is essentially a song about the courage of asking for help. It is a song of hope.”
The new release follows The Awakening’s highly successful eponymous album (2024), which reached #3 on Germany’s Deutsche Alternative Charts and had videos amassing millions of views.
Fans can pre-order the new album and a selection of limited-edition items from The Awakening’s official stores in Germany, the UK and the US.
The album will be supported by a tour of Germany, which follows last year’s worldwide The Haunting Tour, which saw the band headline shows in Germany, Poland, France, the Netherlands, the US, Canada, the UK, Mexico, and South Africa.
