News: XIII Minutes to Unleash New Single
It’s hard to believe that over ten years have passed since Jamie Kucinski, a relatively unknown drummer, began sharing clever posts to promote the emerging alternative metal band, XIII Minutes.
As a long-time supporter of the band, I’ve watched their journey unfold, from the release of their debut album “Obsessed” in 2019 to the various challenges they faced, including lineup changes and brief hiatuses. Ultimately, Jamie found stability with vocalist Jerrod Cunningham from I Am the Pendragon, bassist Preston Bell, and long-time guitarist Thomas Wheat, who was recently replaced by John Watson earlier this year.
After a series of singles over the past couple of years, XIII Minutes is set to release their latest track, “Seeing Is Deceiving,” on Friday, August 28th. This new song promises to deliver a powerful message, supported by a melodic, intense, and hard-rocking foundation that blends into a ballad-like atmosphere, linking back to previous tracks “Who Told You” and“Reckless Love,” which may resonate with dedicated fans.
“Through raw emotion and unwavering hope, ‘Seeing Is Deceiving’ points listeners toward the healing, rest, and restoration that can only be found in Jesus.”
A lyric video is currently underway in support of the new single, and the band has once again achieved a remarkable standard in production, musicianship, and songwriting, reflecting the enduring spirit and determination of XIII Minutes.
