News: 12minutes 2midnight launches full-length AI project (AI Alert)
Matt Corrigan has just released his independent Christian nu-metalcore project, 12minutes 2midnight, titled State of Apocalyption.
“I feel my work aligns perfectly with Heaven’s Metal Magazine‘s history of highlighting experimental and spiritually driven rock. As an active listener of heavy music, I know how much the metal community values raw, honest expression. State of Apocalyption merges aggressive, nostalgic nu-metal elements with heavy electronic production and a strong message of spiritual urgency.
“Because transparency is crucial to me and the heavy scene, I want to be entirely clear about my production process. This is a one-person studio project that utilizes a modern, hybrid workflow:
- The Core: Every song was written, arranged, and produced entirely by me.
- The Vocals: The lead vocals are human—built directly from my own vocal seed to ensure the emotional delivery and spiritual message are authentically mine, utilizing digital processing (including a vocoder layer on select tracks) for stylistic effect.
- The Instrumentation: I used Suno Premier (Paid Tier, meaning I hold full commercial rights to the masters) as a digital production tool to flesh out the backing rhythm sections and electronic layers.
“The first four tracks to serve as the definitive introduction to the project’s core nu-metalcore sound. As the album progresses, it expands into a wider sonic journey—including atmospheric electronics, cinematic textures, and dynamic ballads to encompass the full emotional weight of the project.
“Whether independently or in partnership with a label, I am fully committed to this project long-term and am already mapping out the production for the next 12minutes 2midnight release.”
