NO POSSESSION: Releases Second Single

NO POSSESSION RELEASES THEIR SECOND SINGLE
“BLACK COAL, THIN ICE” TODAY ALONG WITH A MUSIC VIDEO.
Stockholm, Sweden. APRIL, 2021

The record label Melodic Passion Records is very proud to release the second
single “Black coal, thin ice” by No Possession from their upcoming album,
Third time’s a charm. No Possession captures the sweet old rock ‘n’ roll vinyl
sound and you will hear echoes from the past (Stones, Faces, Deep Purple,
The Black Crowes, Aerosmith) and sounds from today (John Mayer, Joe
Bonamassa, Rival Sons). Producing the song together in the studio made the
band a tight knit unit with a unique rock ‘n roll sound.

Micko (lead vocals and guitar) says: “Black coal, thin ice” isn’t so much about rock, it’s about roll. We were trying
to capture that 70: s groove that sadly got lost along the way.
The drums and bass are the backbone and the guitars are weaving, pushing and
pulling. With Kenneth’s bluesy piano and Ann’s fantastic background vocals,
that’s how you get the roll. We can’t wait to play it live.
The mastering was handled by Narnia’s CJ Grimmark and he made it sound like an
old classic vinyl single.
