Boston, MA’s The Burning Paris Re-Issue Album To Celebrate Reunion CD and Digital available from The Charon Collective The Charon Collective is proud to re-issue the retrospective “Half-Truths & Indiscretions” from Boston, MA’s The Burning Paris. Originally released in 2006, the album compiles the songs off the band’s 2001 full-length “Coral City Ruin,” 2003’s EP “And By December You Will Know Where Your Heart Truly Lies,” and other tracks the band recorded before dismantling. After they split, the members went on to explore their own musical endeavors in Lavinia, On Fire, and Esko Esko. After reforming in 2021, The Burning Paris decided to kick start everything with a repackaging of “Half-Truths & Indiscretions” to help celebrate the band’s first run of gigs in over a decade. Original members Nate Shumaker (who also played in post-hardcore innovators Everdown), Jenny Townsend, and Chris Lordan are now joined by Jon McMahan (Lavinia) and Brad Caetano (Herra Terra, Arms & Sleepers, Seneca, AM/PM) to round out their new lineup. Fans of Red House Painters, Mineral, and Starflyer 59 will delight in the pensive atmosphere evoked by The Burning Paris. “Half-Truths & Indiscretions” is available now on CD and Digital right here.
