TSIDKENU: Release New Single
Tsidkenu is a Progressive Power Metal band formed in December 1997 in Tegucigalpa Honduras, Central America. They stood out from the rest of the metal bands for incorporating Christian lyrics, as well as the use of keyboards, thus becoming one of the most distinctive and peculiar bands. In a country and time where metal is not well seen by society, Tsidkenu gave a different proposal both musically and lyrically, this led them to accumulate a good amount of fans throughout the country and become the most emblematic white metal band in Honduras and one of the most iconic in Central America.
Their first album Justicia, released in 2004, has become a classic rock and metal album in their home country, which led them to perform concerts in different cities throughout Central America, and to achieve the most requested song of that year on some national radio stations. Their participation in the most important metal festivals in Honduras has led them to share the stage with world-renowned bands such as Rhapsody of Fire (Italy), Primal Fear (Germany), Antidemon (Brazil), Agora and Coda (Mexico).
In 2015 they were the winning band to represent Honduras in the Central American battle of the bands held in Costa Rica with the objective of reaching a place in the W.O.A. in Germany. In 2016 the album “Ultimos Tiempos” was released, being considered by national journalists as the best rock and metal album of that year, and considered as one of the best Latin American metal albums released in 2016.
Currently the band is finishing the recording process of their next album “Apocalipsys Magna”, from which they have already released their single called “Sin Mañana”, this one has the participation of Diablos Negros bassist Emilio Alvarez, as well as the former Dream Theater and Sons of Apolo keyboardist, Dereck Sherinan.
The most recent release is Speed Harmony, an instrumental track with a video clip available on their YouTube channel that will be part of their next album Apocalipsys Magna. Opening for Rhapsody of Fire – 2018.
