Dave Harvey of Millennial Reign was talking to his friend Greg Volz (Petra) back in June about the lack of Christian promoters in the state of Texas. “is a friend and lives here in the DFW area so he joined us to help out for the night. During the time of planning, he and I discussed on several occasions how there is a complete lack of Christian promoters in the state of Texas. “Not much goes on here except local bands playing churches and/or bars,” said Dave.
After doing the album release show and spending time seeking guidance of the Lord, he has decided to work on filling that void with NTX Metalfest. (North Texas Metalfest)

“The initial plan is to do it on a quarterly basis for the time being,” Dave said. “We’ll start off the first few events with bands from the area of similar genre to build legitimacy and funds to eventually bring in bigger bands. Long range goal is to emulate what’s going on with Immortal Fest, mainly bands that actually sing and can be understood lyrically. Creating a growing ministry being the bottom line.
