Shad Watters and his son (GRACEBILt) are released their seventh project (on 8/21/24). It’s entitled Epic.
EPIC shares the greatest story ever told through powerful songs! Eastern NC’s father/son duo (Shad & Christian Watters) GRACEBILt incorporates classic and alternative rock forged on the anvil of melodic metal and orchestral accompaniment to tell God’s grand story of redemption. Epic begins with the Creation & Fall and flows thru redemptive history till the final Consummation. Listen, engage & find your place in HIStory!
“We’re celebrating my dad’s memory by releasing our 7th project on his 77th birthday,” said Shad Watters. “Anyone who knew my dad Jim Watters knows that he loved Jesus and music. But he actually started out as a rock musician touring across the US and released several records. One of those bands was called The Shadows and that’s actually where I got my nickname “Shad” from—the “littlest Shadow.” However, when my dad got saved, he left all that behind and became a pastor. Later, he would write hundreds of Christian songs and had over 500 releases by various artists in addition to his own performances before he passed at age 56. What a godly heritage! He passed that love of Jesus and music to his sons and grandchildren. We’re carrying on the tradition!”
