We are celebrating our anniversary and are inviting old friends and new faces to the big party.
After a long break, an old friend is coming to visit us for our big birthday: Pastor Bob Beeman from Nashville USA. The first heavy metal pastor who only lives out of two suitcases, who shaped bands like the legendary Stryper and is partly responsible for the big bang of Christian heavy metal: The jack of all trades is also the founder of a homeless ministry, a book author and podcaster. Exciting conversations at the bar with Pastor Bob are guaranteed.
We don't fit into a category with this edition either! 20 years old and we are sometimes really old school, then fresh modern and increasingly also experimental avant-garde metal.
The American headliner Whitecross is approaching forty and still knows how to impress with his hard rock / heavy metal live and with a new album: For the fourth time we are able to welcome the makers of cult albums such as Hammer & Nail and In the Kingdom to the Stadthofsaal stage.
We're daring to do the experimental balancing act and bringing progressive extreme metal to our house with the Norwegians In Vain. A first-class best-of performance with surprises is guaranteed! The next band has been around since 1979: The guys from Saint have been giving it their all with US metal and still show a great urge to create! Albums like Time's End and Too Late for Living are among their classics, but they also recently attracted attention in 2024 with Immortalizer. This year, we're bridging the gap between hard rock and death metal with 8 other bands to suit a wide variety of tastes.
The Elements of Rock is an annual rock and metal festival held in spring, where eleven national and international bands from all styles of heavy metal perform on Friday and Saturday evenings. There are also church services during the day on Saturday and Sunday. Information about tickets can be found at www.elementsofrock.com/tickets.
