News: Seth Metoyer reimagines Stryper’s ‘All of Me’
Seth Metoyer’s reimagined version of “All of Me” for the To Hell With The Devil 40th anniversary tribute is officially out via Roxx Records.
And it’s already stirring conversation.
“Rather than recreate the original ballad arrangement,” explains Metoyer, “I completely reworked it into a rock-forward version with a heavier backbone and fuller rhythm section. I also produced a separate industrial interpretation, which is available on streaming as “All of Me – Alternate Version.”
“Some listeners are loving it,” relates Metoyer. “Others seem to feel it’s borderline sacrilegious because it doesn’t follow the karaoke-ballad route. Honestly, that tension feels appropriate. The original album disrupted expectations in its time. Art that moves forward tends to divide before it settles.”
