News: King’s Hammer Drops Brutal New Single ‘Earth Slam’
Christan death metal band King’s Hammer has unleashed its crushing new single “Earth Slam,” now streaming everywhere through Broken Curfew Records.
The project is helmed by Shovelhead A.D. mastermind Chuck Weatherman. With “Earth Slam,” he delivers unrelenting, faith-fueled brutality—blending guttural conviction with lyrical surrender and bold proclamation.
The track serves as the first strike from King’s Hammer’s debut full-length, the nine-track album The Color of the Soul, which releases February 27 on physical, digital, and streaming platforms.
Lyrically, “Earth Slam” moves between sorrow and commission. It opens in broken humility:
Sorrow, crushes my soul
Forgive, can’t let this go
Christ paid for me
I am nothing
From there, the song turns outward—fear of death stripped away, voice sent to the nations, the earth shaking under the weight of declaration:
Through The Hammer His voice
Is still, out burning through the Void
None shall prevail against His bride
The gates of Hell will hold no strength
His mercy crushed them all, and with it my chains break
Fears shake
Earth quakes
Slam throughout the earth
Released February 13, 2026, “Earth Slam” sets the tone for what’s coming. The Color of the Soul arrives February 27.
