It looks like new music from Soul Embraced is on the horizon.
Multi-instrumentalist Rocky Gray recently shared a brief update on Instagram, posting a studio screenshot with the caption, “More new SE stuff…”—showing that work is underway behind the scenes.
Gray, a founding member of Soul Embraced, has long served as the band’s guitarist and creative backbone, contributing across multiple roles including guitars, drums, and songwriting. Outside the band, he’s widely recognized for his work as the drummer for Evanescence during their breakthrough Fallen era, as well as his contributions to Living Sacrifice and numerous other projects spanning metal, film scoring, and production.
While no official details have been announced, the post strongly suggests that new material is currently in progress. Soul Embraced has remained largely quiet in recent years, making this a notable development for fans of the long-running extreme metal project.
