The Blamed release “What if..” EP (The Crucified cover songs)

What if everyone in your band loved thrash legends The Crucified, and your drummer was in The Crucified, and you had a bunch of awesome friends from the hard music scene that wanted to participate in a covers EP? Then you’d blast out updated versions of four songs from The Crucified’s catalog:

2. Thread
3. Conviction
4. Mindbender
The Blamed are Jim Chaffin, Jeff Locke, Sid Duffour, and Bryan Gray.
Recorded and mixed by The Blamed and friends, drums recorded by Jim Chaffin at Valhalla Studios, Fresno, CA, lead vocals and gang vocals recorded by Jeff Locke at Library Studios Illinois, additional vocals on Pillars by Bruce Fitzhugh recorded by Loren Tew in Nashville, rhythm guitars and gang vocals recorded by Bryan Gray in Oregon, Greg Minier played guitar on the breakdown of Mindbender and guitar on Conviction at The Beat Lab Tennessee, Rocky Gray played the solos on Thread and Mindbender at Grayhouse Arkansas, gang vocals by Mike Boddington, Greg Dimmick, Paul Hedrick at the Teeth For Eyes lair in Oregon, additional bass by Lance Garvin at Garvin Studios Arkansas, additional bass by Paul Hedrick, additional gang vocals by Josh Summers and Bryan Gray’s brother-in-law Josh Jordan on Mindbender, original crown of thorns logo and original Crucified cover art by Mark Saloman, cassette photos by Ron Wagler.
