ON THEM WITH AN INQUISITIVE ANGLE OF, “HOW DO YOU CREATE MUSIC THIS GOOD? ARE YOU GUYS EVEN HUMAN?”

What motivates a bunch of old guys to get together and make a
hard rock album in this day and age?
“Hey now!” cautions bassist Monty Colvin, sitting up in his chair
as if he’s offended at the “old guys” label (see the video for a visual confirmation).
“We’ve been wanting to do this for a long time,” his narration
continues. “We just couldn’t figure out how. Finally, one of us
suggested the Kickstarter thing to see if there’s any interest. So, we
threw it out there just hoping our fans would come through for us.”
60 days of funding and $88,000 later, the band forged through preproduction,
tracking, mixing, and mastering.
“It’s been like a year and a half, two years later,” Colvin explains. “We’re finally ready to get it out there.”
