Review: Fear Not – Crashin’ Down (Single)

Fear Not 2025

It has been three (long) years since Los Angeles California rockers Fear Not dropped their previous blistering album Field of Sorrows on us in 2022; but they are back, dropping a new fired-up single—Crashin’ Down—on the world back on May 2nd.

Available on most digital platforms, there are no surprises or new musical direction found here thankfully, just more of the expected heavy rocking from these veterans. The opening riff tells you they mean business.

I’m drinking fire and gasoline
do you know what I mean?
I’m going down in flames

Though they started out as an anthemic arena rock band with their 1993 release, ever since their 2019 return with Eddie Green on lead vocals, they have given us thundering, heavy, hard-hitting rock with both grit and melody, and this new track reveals we’ll be hearing more in the future.

This is the first single released from the new forthcoming EP, and the band says they’ll have even more music shortly after that, by Christmas time.

Fear Not - Crashing Down

Our producer Kyle straight-up told us “Crashin’ Down” HAD to be the next release. We fought it. He won. And we’re glad he did.

Some songs take months to write. Others just pour out in one sitting. “Crashing’ Down” was one of those. It came from a real place, and we hope it connects with you like it did with us. Take a listen now.

The band will be appearing alongside an all-star amazing line up at this summer’s 4th Annual Immortal Festival, so make plans to check them out.
