News: No More Death Reveals Cover Art and Tracklist for New Album
Brazilian thrash metal project No More Death has revealed the cover art and tracklist for its upcoming second album, Last Caesar. The new record follows the project’s debut album, The Death Is Dead, which helped establish No More Death among the rising names in the current thrash metal scene.
Led by vocalist and guitarist Tiago Torres, formerly of Mad Dragzter, No More Death continues the conceptual arc first introduced on The Death Is Dead. While the debut album explored the beginning of the ages and the rise of humanity, Last Caesar moves the story into the final years of the human era. The album carries a darker and more destructive atmosphere, presenting a vision of collapse, apostasy, and extinction through the lens of aggressive thrash metal.
Musically, Last Caesar pushes the project into a heavier, more technical direction. The album draws influence from classic thrash titans such as Slayer, Testament, and Exodus, while also leaving room for unexpected elements, including the possibility of a heavy ballad. The result points toward a record built on speed, tension, and apocalyptic atmosphere.
As with The Death Is Dead, the album features co-production from Demis Kohler, who handled sound engineering, tones, mixing, mastering, and the recording of all guitar solos. The cover art was created by Jean Michel of DSNS Art, whose credits include work connected to Metal Church, Queensrÿche, Michael Sweet, and others.
Last Caesar is scheduled for release on digital platforms in July. The physical CD edition will follow in August, with an independent release in Brazil and worldwide distribution through ROXX Records for the United States and the rest of the world. A post-release music video is also planned for the title track, “Last Caesar.”
