Ragin Rosie

I’m a follower of Jesus Christ, a classically trained vocalist, and a lifelong metalhead based in Detroit, Michigan. Music has been the thread running through every season of my life, from performing in ensembles to fronting a touring heavy metal band and working in the music industry on Nashville’s Music Row. I’ve spent years behind the mic, behind the pen, and in the crowd, working in radio, writing for multiple media outlets, and attending hundreds of shows, always drawn to the intensity and authenticity that heavy music delivers. God first called me to Himself as a child, and after years of wandering, He reminded me that He is the One who “leads out the prisoners with singing” (Psalm 68:6) and has truly put a new song in my mouth (Psalm 40:3). Today, alongside my work as a librarian and educator, I’m passionate about supporting artists and writing about the music that continues to shape my life and faith.
